Cecil O. Kemp Jr. grew up on a small farm. He and Patty, his Childhood sweetheart, have been married almost thirty years. Their two Children are married and have given the Kemps four grandchildren. In 1971, Cecil graduated College and began his Professional Career as a CPA working with one of the world\'s largest Accounting firms. At twenty-three, he became chief Financial officer of a public company and, before thirty, became its chief operating officer. From 1982-1998 the Kemps owned and operated many Successful businesses. As a result of lessons learned from Cecil\'s near fatal accident in 1993 and introspection on his father\'s unexpected Death in 1995, the Kemps sold all their businesses and have focused their energy full-time on writing, publishing, speaking, and retreat ministry.
